Biography

Lester R. Born, Jr., 88, of Belle Center, Ohio, passed away Friday August 12, 2011 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

He married Mary E. Bush in Springfield, Ohio, and she survives. Also surviving are two sons; Lee (Joannie) Born of Mt. Dora, Florida and Bruce (Rosemary) Born of Springfield; two daughters, Linda (Gene) Gooding of Vermillion, Ohio and Chris (David) Watkins of Rushsylvania, Ohio. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by a son Lester R. Born III; a daughter, Lisa Born; a brother, James Born and a sister Mildred Ruth Born.

Private services will be held at the Eichholtz Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Boy Scouts of America.
