Biography

Lilly A. Smith, 77, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Monday, November 7, 2011 at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. Lilly was born June 28, 1934 in Waverly, Ohio, to the late Edward D. and Mary (Williams) Logan. She was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Logan and a grandchild.

Surviving are her children, Hugh (Morgan) Sharp of Belle Center, Ohio and Mary (Edward) LeVan of Piqua, Ohio; grandchildren, Christina (Brent) Golliday, Cynthia Schindewolf, Charlotte (Gary) Phipps, Jonnie Sue Sharp, Melinda Rosignol, Jeremy Sharp, Sarah Sharp, Amanda Sharp; great grandchildren, Brittany, Bethany and Brady Golliday, Gary Lee and Kortney Phipps, Paige and Kaleb Schindewolf, and Alexander Sharp; and several nieces and nephews.

Lilly retired from D.A.B. after twenty five years of service. She then worked at Wal-Mart until 2010. She loved animals and crocheting.

A graveside service will be held Friday, November 11, 2011 at the Bellefontaine Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Gary Wagner of the Pentecostal Church of God of Piqua officiating.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
