Linda J. Clark, age 71, of West Liberty, Ohio passed away at 4:01 A.M. Sunday, August 24, 2014, at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

She was born in Bellefontaine February 18, 1943, to the late Charles Oliver and Mary H. (Gaver) Fairchild. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Long and a brother, David Fairchild.

On July 8, 1961, she married John Clark, and he survives.

She is also survived by three daughters Laurie (Darin) Leach of West Liberty, Wendy (Scott) Pettit of Buffalo, New York and Christie (Andy) Markin of Urbana, Ohio; ten grandchildren, Ashley, Courtney and Rachel Leach, Joshua (Jackie) Pettit, Jeremy (Janine) Pettit, Jessica (John) McGwier, Sarah and Chloe Pettit, and Kelsie and Andrea Markin; fourteen great grandchildren; two brothers, John (Peggy) Fairchild of Urbana and Steve Fairchild of West Liberty; a sister-in-law, Diane Fairchild of West Liberty and many nieces and nephews.

A member of the West Liberty Church of Christ, Linda had worked at Ohio Caverns, as well as the Green Hills Childcare Center. She deeply loved and adored all of her grandchildren.

Rev. Paul E. Forrey will officiate a graveside service at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the Fairview Cemetery in West Liberty. Following the service at the cemetery, family and friends are invited to join in a time of fellowship from 11:00 A.M. to 12 noon, with a meal to follow at the West Liberty United Church of Christ in West Liberty.

The funeral arrangements were in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in West Liberty.
