Linda Joyce Mullins

Linda Joyce Mullins, 81, of Bellefontaine, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023, in the Campbell Place, Bellefontaine.

She was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on March 17, 1942, the daughter of the late Ralph Scott and Juanita Jones.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Hatfield, and two brothers, Kenny Jones and Gary Scott.

On April 4, 1965, she married Harry Maxwell Mullins, Jr. in Chillicothe, Ohio, and he survives in Bellefontaine along with two sons; Chad (Rhonda) Mullins, Mike D. Mullins, three grandchildren: Taryn Mullins, Avery Mullins, and Silas Mullins, two step-grandchildren; Matthew Roderick and Lucas Roderick, a sister, Janice (Bruce) Ebert and several nieces and nephews.

Linda worked as an aide for Bellefontaine City Schools while her sons were in school and later worked for Oak Hill Medical Center in West Liberty, as a receptionist.  She was a good-hearted lady, who enjoyed getting a laugh out of her friends and family with her orneriness. She was an excellent baker and cook and loved taking care of her family.

Pastor Joe Ziraldo will officiate a funeral service on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine.  Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
