Linda Peters

Linda Ann Peters, 74, of Lakeview, Ohio, passed away Monday morning, August 26, 2013 at her home.

She was born in Columbus, Ohio June 7, 1939, to the late James H. and Mary (Penrod) Warner. She was also preceded in death by her step-mother, Ersula Warner; a sister, Barbara Jane Sylvester and a brother, James Penrod Warner.

Linda married Gerald Peters July 29, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio and he survives in Lakeview. She is also survived by children, Christopher Vincent (Linda H.) Peters of Middleberg, Pennsylvania, Timothy Stanley James (Judy D.) Peters of Evansville, Indiana and Adele Jerrilyn (Thomas V.) Corsi of Columbus; a grandson, Benjamin Oscar Pietruszyka Peters; brothers, Michael Warner of Columbus, Steven Warner of Philo, Ohio and David Warner of Grove City, Ohio; sisters, Laura Holland of Hebron, Ohio and Lisa Warner of Grove City, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda was Catholic and enjoyed reading, crafts and working her puzzle books. She had worked in the office at Holloway Sportswear and was a member of the Indian Lake Eagles #3615 Ladies Auxiliary for 30 plus years.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013, at the Myron Van Horn Chapel of Smith-Eichholtz Funeral Home in Lakeview at noon with Fr. Jim Russell officiating. Calling hours will be two hours prior to the service starting at 10 A.M. Interment will be at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in New Hampshire, Ohio at a later date.
