Linda Scherer

Linda Scherer, 68, of Bellefontaine passed away Saturday morning April 9, 2016 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima Ohio. She was born in Bellefontaine on September 29, 1947 to the late James and Ruth (Herford) Houchin, also preceded in death by brothers: James, Fred and John Houchin, and sisters Anita Hooper and Wanda Byrge.

She is survived by her three sons, Gene Ross, Scott (Denise) Scherer and Mike (Veronica) Scherer; grandchildren: Courtney Lewellen, Amber Hahn, Stealth M. Scherer, Blazie R. Scherer and Abbigale Scherer; great grandchildren: Kaylee Lewellen and Braxton Lewellen; sisters: Kaye (Dick) Burchett, Angel (Mike) Shaffner, Heidi Palmer and Kelly Hart.

Linda was a DJ and a bartender and enjoyed shopping and her family.

Visitation will be Friday April 15, 2016 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home 321 N. Main St. Bellefontaine from 4-6 PM and a Celebration of Life will be Saturday April 16, 2016 at Robin Butlers home, 1726 Twp. Rd. 185 Bellefontaine from 2-4 pm.
