Lois Cline

Lois A. Cline, 95, of Bellefontaine, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born in Helena, Montana on August 30, 1920 to the late James and Flora Taylor. On June 1, 1947 she married Edward F. Cline Jr. and he preceded her in death, March 17, 1998. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer (Tim) Linnabary; siblings; James (Claudius) Taylor of Georgia, Paul (Ethel/Beulah) Taylor of Bellefontaine, Steven (Juanita/Emma) Taylor of West Liberty, Betty (Glen) Outland of Huntsville, Pleaz (Carmen) Willits of Columbus, and Ella (Raymond) Boone of DeGraff.

She is survived by children, Edward (Pam) Cline of Huber Heights, Gene (Susan) Cline of Fairborn, Nora (Susan) Cline of Lakeville, Ma, Mary Lucas of Bellefontaine, Carolyn Caskey of Bellefontaine, and Karen (Bryan) Scott of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Cindy Cline of Tampa Florida, Amy Mowry of Columbus, Ryan Lucas of Bellefontaine, Julie Lucas of Bellefontaine, Nicole Grant of DeGraff, Joey Caskey of Kettering, Rebecca Linnabary of Cincinnati, Ben Linnabary of Cincinnati, Conner Scott of Westerville, and Casey Scott of Bellefontaine. Five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Zoe, Oz, and Milo.

Lois spent the majority of her life raising her seven children. She worked as a civilian employee of Wright Patterson Air Force Base and many years for the Logan County Fair Board. Lois was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine. In her leisure time she enjoyed needle point, cross stitch and crocheting, donating many afghans to the Bellefontaine Music Boosters, as well as family and friends. At the age of 95, she became a “techi”, and enjoying FaceTiming with family.

Reverend Gene Cline and Nora Cline will officiate a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
