Lois J Lepree

Born in New Jersey on March 29, 1936.

Lois was a member of Pleasant Grange, and a member of both the De Graff and Quincy United Methodist Churches.

Lois had a varied work career, both in New Jersey and Ohio.

Lois is preceded in death by her father Louis J. Wishney and mother Ida (Ferrari) Wishney of New Jersey, and loving husband Joe of 48 years.

Lois is survived by her three children- Angel (Wishney) Marcinko of New Jersey, sons David Wishney, and Scott Emerson, both in De Graff, five grand-children- Michele (Marcinko) Daniels, John Marcinko III, Daniel Marcinko, all of New Jersey, Christine (Wishney) Austin in Florida, and Elizabeth (Wishney) Leas in De Graff, eleven Great Grand-Children, and one Great, Great, Grand-child on the way.

Originally from New Jersey, Lois had a few different jobs. She tried driving a schoolbus, but quickly realized that wasn't for her. Later, she was employed at Two Guys Department Store, and fell in love with her supervisor. In January 1974, she married Joe Lepree. Later that summer, at the invitation of family friends, she came to Lima, OH to visit and decided she liked the laid-back atmosphere better than the fast-paced life of New Jersey. Plans were made to relocate and they both got jobs in Lima. Lois worked for Randall Bearings for a number of years.

In 1986, Joe lost his job due to relocation of the business, and he found work in Bellefontaine. The family relocated to De Graff. Lois worked for Walmart Pharmacy in Bellefontaine for a time, and later she was employed by the De Graff United Methodist Church, as Church Secretary before she retired. After the onset of Joe's illness and move to the nursing home, Lois moved into Scott's home in 2013. When she fell ill in July 2024, she was placed in Fair Haven Shelby County Home, where she passed to be reunited with her loving husband Joe on February 2, 2025. She was 88.

No visitation or funeral is planned. Cremation is to be handled by Eichholtz, Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Bellefontaine.
