Lois Reynolds

Lois May Reynolds, age 79, of Rushsylvania, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Monday, July 7, 2014.

She was born July 8, 1934 in Rushsylvania to Ina (Payne) and George Crevison. She married John Robert Reynolds August 28, 1948 in Newport, Kentucky, and they were married for fifty six years before the Lord called him home September 3, 2004. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Don Crevison, Charles Crevison and Frank Crevison; a brother-in-law, Warren “Soap” Green; a sister-in- law, Jennie Crevison; a grandson, Douglas Langstaff and his wife, Misty (Rose) Langstaff.

Lois loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. She is survived by two sons, William John (Cheryl) Reynolds of Olympia, Washington and Robert Alan (Shirley) Reynolds of Plain City, Ohio; four daughters, Jean Ann (David “Skip”) Downey of Marysville, Ohio, Karen Sue (Victor) Wilcoxon of Warrenton, Virginia, Beverly Kay (Stephen) Langstaff of Springfield, Ohio and Barbara Lynn (Gene) Hunt of Bellefontaine; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Judy Thompson of Waverly, Tennessee and Daisy Green of West Mansfield, Ohio; two brothers, Douglas Crevison of McArthur, Ohio and John Crevison of West Mansfield.

Many years ago Lois asked Jesus Christ to come into her heart and life. She was a member of the Rushsylvania Church of Christ and Ridgeway Church of Christ for many years. Lois was a hard-working homemaker who raised six children. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, taking pictures of her family and celebrating Easter and other holidays with her grandchildren.

Calling hours for Lois will be held Thursday, July 10, 2014, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, Ohio from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Pastor Cory Savage will officiate the funeral service Friday, July 11, 2014 at the funeral home at 11 A.M. Interment will follow the funeral service at the Rushsylvania Cemetery.
