Lois P. Roebuck, 90, of Columbus and formerly of Belle Center passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017 in Green Hills Care Center, West Liberty.
She was born in Logan County on February 27, 1927 the daughter of the late Harry and Marie (Miller) Roebuck. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Harriet Kies.
She is survived by her brother, Ronald (Garnie) Roebuck of Belle Center, brother-in-law, Hank Kies of Bellefontaine, and her nieces and nephews; Hal Kies of Columbus, Johnny Roebuck of Belle Center, Ronnie Chris (Caroline) Roebuck of Belle Center, Cathy (Brooks) Pool of Belle Center, Jeff (Heather) Kies of California, and Jennifer (George) Wilkins of Bellefontaine and numerous great nieces & nephews.
Lois graduated from Belle Center High School in 1945, where she was the valedictorian of her class. She worked for the Belle Center Bank before going to work for Lennox Manufacturing in Columbus and retired from there in 1983. She was a member of the Belle Center United Methodist Church, where she played the organ for ten years. She also enjoyed playing the piano and traveling.
Pastor Kevin Smith will officiate a funeral service on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 12 Noon in the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 306 N. Elizabeth St. Belle Center. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center.
