Lois Stout

Lois L. Stout, 93, formerly of Belle Center, Ohio, died Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Heartland of Bellefontaine, Ohio. She was born March 3, 1916, in Belle Center, the daughter of the late Harry C. and Jane (Wylie) McCracken. She married John Ivan Stout on October 16, 1933, in Richmond, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on March 5, 1996.

She is survived by her son, James E. (Maxine) Stout of Belle Center, and her daughter Carol Kohli of Belle Center. Also surviving are six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was a member of the Belle Center United Presbyterian Church. She was a devoted homemaker and worked on the farm with her family.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center, with Rev. Kathy Clark officiating. Calling hours are Tuesday, December 1, 2009, from 4 until 7 P.M. at the funeral home in Belle Center. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center.
