Loraine Robbins, 81, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. She was born to the late Matt and Ida (Boggs) Bryant March 18, 1930, in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
On July 27, 1962, she married Charles Robbins in Troy, Ohio and he preceded her in death May 2, 1972. She was also preceded in death by a son, Bill Woods, a brother, Johnny Bryant and sisters, Nora Perry, Jessie Boggs, Goldie Perry, May Swanigan, Hazel Jackson and Lillian Sherlock.
Surviving is a daughter, Pat (Fred) Close of Bellefontaine; a sister, Sue Elder of Lancaster, Ohio; long time friends, Loraine Fay (Robert) Saylor of Marion, Ohio and Bertha Kauffman of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Patricia (John Watt) Orahood, Angel Fehr, Melissa Taylor, Lisa Conners, Chris Coppler, Cole and Kyle Kauffman; great grandchildren, Cody and Tiniqua Watt, Addyson and Hayden Taylor, Caylie and Courtney Fehr, Skyler and Ciarra Coppler and Robbie Mazzoline.
Loraine worked at Latham’s Rest Home in food service. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and her dogs, Buba & Buddy. She loved to go to yard sales, play Bingo and listen to country music.
Calling hours are Friday, April 15, 2011, from 10 to 11 A.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine with a funeral service starting at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow the funeral service in the Bellefontaine Cemetery.
