Lorna C. Gump

Lorna C. Gump, 94, of DeGraff, passed away at 3:20 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on June 23, 1923 to the late LeRoy D. and Audrey H. (Davis) Fisher.

On October 10, 1940 Lorna married Kenneth Webster Gump in Paris, Kentucky and he preceded her in death on January 17, 2005. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, a grandson, three sisters, and three brothers.

Lorna is survived by her three daughters, Sheryl E. (David) Regula of Maplewood, and Nancy Hall and Rhonda K. (Daniel) Goings, both of DeGraff; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A homemaker, Lorna was a 50-year member of Miami Grange. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and especially spending time with her family and special cherished pets.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 210 W. Hayes Street in DeGraff. Pastor Bill Halter will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 26th at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff, Ohio.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff.
