Louise B. King, 91, formerly of East Liberty, Ohio, passed away Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Green Hills Care Center in West Liberty, Ohio. She was born May 13, 1920 in West Liberty, to the late Earl and Mary (Robbins) Burson.
Louise married Richard F. King August 17, 1941, in West Liberty, and he preceded her in death September 28, 2004. Also preceding her in death were siblings, Howard Burson and Ethel Ferryman.
Surviving is a son, James (Nancy) King of Middleburg, Ohio and Margaret L. “Pegg” (Ron) Moffitt of Zanesfield, Ohio; sisters, Sue (Millard) Ferryman of Urbana, Ohio and Linda Chapman of Westerville, Ohio; grandchildren, Kenneth King, Denise (Rob) Painter, Kwyn (Jack) Somerville, Kara J. Moffitt and Kyle (Kristi) Moffitt; and 11 great grandchildren.
Louise worked at Harding Machine. A West Liberty High School graduate, she was a past member of the Worthwhile Club and volunteered at the Logan County Historical Society and was a talented seamstress.
Calling hours are Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 2 to 4 P.M. at the Kauffman-Eichholtz Funeral Home in West Liberty, where Pastor Rose Michael will officiate an 11:00 A.M. funeral service Monday, October 31, 2011. Interment will be at the Fairview Cemetery in West Liberty.
