Lynda M. Fulmer, 67, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Friday morning April 21, 2017, at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine. She was born in San Diego, California December 19, 1949, to the late Leo and Pearl Thompson Whitcomb. Lynda was also preceded in death by a son Benjamin Fulmer and her second husband, Steven A. Fulmer.
Lynda worked at HBD Industries in Bellefontaine for many years. She loved sewing, quilting, making jewelry, and all types of arts and crafts. In her younger years, Lynda earned a scholarship to the University of California in Berkley, before she moved to Ohio. She later attended Clark State for two years. Family was very important to Lynda and she loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.
Lynda is survived by her sons Steven A. (Kelly) Fulmer and Paul (Mindy) Fulmer, both of Bellefontaine; a daughter, Dessire Harp of West Liberty, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren, Tyler, Joel, Lydia, Angel, Scott, Elizabeth, Cambrianna, Steven Jr, Paul Jr, Aaryona, Draven, Carmen and Chris; ten great-grandchildren; and her first husband, Dick Smith of Bellefontaine.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 27, 2017, at 3 P.M. at the Victory Chapel of Praise 13634 St. Rt. 235 in Harrod, Ohio (flowers may be sent directly to church). A private family burial will be held in the Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to the grandchildren of Lynda Fulmer.
The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
