Lynn Ellen Wright

Lynn Ellen Wright, 75, of DeGraff, passed away peacefully at 1:52 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lima, Ohio on March 23, 1949, a daughter of the late Thomas George Ewing and Mary Francis (Horn) Watters.

On November 2, 1969, Lynn married Dwain Wesley Kerns in Lima, Ohio and he preceded her in death on June 6, 1986. On June 29, 1991, she married Lowell P. Wright in Alger, Ohio and he survives. She is also survived by seven children, Shelley (Tim) Baker, Jody (DeDe) Kerns, Bonnie Effingham, Amy Estep, Kenneth Shane (Deana) Wright, Shawna (Rich) Szima, and Seth (Gerri) Wright; 26 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; a brother, Jerry (Barb) Ewing; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lynn was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Keith Effingham, and Joseph Estep; and five siblings, Thomas Ewing, Marge Herring, Max Ewing, Danny Watters, and Jay Horn.

Lynn had worked for H&H Electric and DHS as a wire harness builder. In her leisure time she enjoyed playing Candy Crush, sewing, and gardening.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 210 W. Hayes Street in DeGraff, where Pastor Daniel McCarty will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff, Ohio. Serving as pallbearers will be Davin Kerns, Tyler Hausler, Allison Estep, Linsey Kuhn, Preston Wright, Jason Burt, Dillon Callicoat, and Ganon Kerns.
