Mabel A. Wayman, 81, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at Heartland of Bellefontaine. She was born on May 13, 1927, in Champaign County, Ohio, to the late Alfred and Mildred Vaughn Johnson Larry. She married George Wayman Jr. in Champaign Co. and he preceded her in death on January 15, 1969. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Grant Sherman Larry.
Surviving is a son, George Michael Wayman and a daughter, Sandra Lynn Long both of Bellefontaine; a brother, Charles L. (Ruth Ellen) Larry of Zanesfield, Ohio; a sister, Jan (James) Inskeep of Bellefontaine; sister-in-law, Norma Jean Larry of Cable, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Kenneth A. Long of Toledo, Ohio, Kimberly June (Rob) Fleshman of Bowling Green, Ohio, and Michelle Wayman of Bellefontaine; 3 great grandchildren, Skyler & Mackenzie Fleshman and Logan Heiberger.
In 1987 she retired from Merchants Industries. She loved to make jewelry, crafts and crochet.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Friday, February 13, 2009, at the Jenkins Chapel Cemetery in Champaign County with Richard Petty officiating.
