Margaret Atkinson

Margaret L. Atkinson, age 86, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Heartland of Bellefontaine.

She was born May 16, 1928, in Raleigh, North Carolina to the late Walter E. and Daisy V. (Autrey) Crowe.

She was married to William R. Atkinson and he preceded her in death June 17, 1999. She was also preceded in death by all her siblings.

Surviving is a son, Mike (Jackie) Atkinson of Bellefontaine and a grandson, Jordan Riojas.

For twenty six years she ran a welfare home in Fayetteville, North Caroline. Margaret loved embroidering and spending time with her family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at the Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, North Carolina at a later date.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled arrangements for the family.
