Margaret V. Bevington Parker, 88, formerly of Bellefontaine, Ohio, died Friday, October 10, 2008, at Heartland of Bellefontaine.
She was born in Russell, Kentucky, on April 16, 1920, a daughter of the late James and Callie Wells Potter. She also was preceded in death by her first husband, James F. Bevington, on October 14, 1978; her second spouse, Brice Parker; daughters, Helen Louise Dickinson and Betty Jane Bevington; and sisters, Nora Taylor and Elizabeth Jeno.
Survivors include sons, Samuel (Patti) Bevington of Russells Point, Ohio, and Robert Bevington of Bellefontaine; daughters, Peggy (David) Frazier of West Mansfield, Ohio, and Phyllis (Fred) Yoder and Margaret (Michael) Brunke, both of Bellefontaine; a brother, Lester (Carol) Potter of Bellefontaine; sisters, Janet Porter of Tremont and Roberta Green of Ashland, Kentucky; 19 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Bellefontaine.
Pastor Don Yoder and son-in-law Fred Yoder conducts the funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2008, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling is one hour prior to the service.
