Marian Norton

Biography

Marian J. Norton, 72, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 1, 2016 at her home. She was born in Logan County, Ohio on June 2, 1943 to the late James and Norma (Short) Grow.

Marian married Chester Norton in March 1963, and he preceded her in death on March 18, 2003. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Seth Miller; a son-in-law, Danny Sosby; two sisters, June Blosser and Dixie Boysel; and two brothers, Jim and John Grow.

Marian is survived by her two daughters; Becky (Rod) Miller and Tina Sosby; three grandsons, Alex Miller, Ryan Sosby and Kyle Sosby; a sister, Lois (Paul) Hardman; a special friend, Bryan McCurley; and her cat Sweetie.

Marian had worked as a waitress and attended Christ Our King Church in Bellefontaine.

Pastor Robin Ricks will officiate a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine where visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m.
