Marilyn E. Buscher

Marilyn E. Buscher, 85, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Mary Rutan Hospital. She was born in Milford Center, Ohio on February 9, 1940, to the late Albert Ellis Akey and Rose Marie (McKinnon) Crozier. She is also preceded in death by her brother, John Akey.

On June 12, 1960, she married David Michael Buscher, and he preceded her in death on February 18, 2023.

She is survived by her three sons: Michael (Gilbert), David (Kellie) and Todd Buscher; grandsons: Adam, Daniel, Chase and Gage Buscher; granddaughter, Jennifer Suiter; great grandchildren: Lucy, Lila, Hannah, Jacob, Ava, Sylas, Hudson, Madison, Mattelyn, and Kobe; sisters: Sarah Cornell and Jen Moreno; brother, Andy (Kris) Akey; niece, Dottie Skidmore and nephew, Jonathan Cornell.

A homemaker, Marilyn enjoyed baking and cooking and sharing those talents with those she loved. She loved being outside whether she was gardening or feeding and watching the deer. She was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and liked word search puzzles. Her dogs, Lady Lu and Shiloh were her pride and joy.

Marilyn’s wish was to be cremated and there will be no public services at this time.
