Marilyn Scott Guerard

Marilyn Scott Guerard, 84, of Bellefontaine, passed away Tuesday morning, August 9, 2022, at Logan Acres Care Center.

Marilyn was born in Bellefontaine on December 19, 1937, an only child to the late Herman D. and Evelyn M. (Rose) Scott.  She married Albertin A. “Bert” Guerard in 1983, and he preceded her in death in 2018. 

Marilyn attended Bellefontaine Schools through sixth grade, then moved to the Huntsville area and graduated from Huntsville High School in 1955.  Following her high school graduation, Marilyn was employed as a secretary by the law firm now known as Smith, Smith, Montgomery and Chamberlain, LLC.  She continued to work there for many years as a secretary and office manager.  Marilyn loved carrousels, enjoyed photography, traveling, and going to the Columbus Zoo.  She was an accomplished artist.  Marilyn also enjoyed attending Irish and Scottish festivals.

Pastor Dave Hafenbrack will officiate a graveside service for Marilyn on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 11am at Huntsville Cemetery.
