Marilyn Sue Steinmetz, 84, of Huntsville, Ohio passed away Friday morning, July 16, 2021, at Logan Acres Senior Community.
She was born in Huntsville February 14, 1937, to the late Donald William Metzler and Irene Lola (Burden) Nash. Sue married Richard Charles Steinmetz December 13, 1957, in Huntsville and he preceded her in death July 18, 2018.
Sue is survived by her children: Arnetta (Michael) Wallbrown of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Arlene Jenkins of Huntsville, Holly (Vincent) Liming of Xenia, Ohio and Ed Steinmetz of Huntsville; seven grandchildren: Mat Jenkins, Cody, Justin and MacKenzie Liming, Colby (Brandi), Reyse and Kennedy Wallbrown and a great-granddaughter, Paisyn Wallbrown.
A 1955 graduate of Huntsville High School, Sue worked for the United States Postal Service as a Postmaster for twenty five years before retiring in 1997. She was a member of the Huntsville Presbyterian Church and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW.
Friends may call Tuesday, July 20, 2021, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine, where Pastor Ben Beres will officiate a memorial service at 7 p.m.
The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine is honored to serve the Steinmetz family.
