Marjorie Kay Lotz, 76, of Jackson Center passed away Monday afternoon, May 25, 2015 at her home. She was born in Lima on April 6, 1939 to the late Fred H. and Maxine E. (Harris) Bunke. She was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Diane Lotz.
A 1957 graduate of Jackson Center High School, Marjorie worked for 27 years with District #7 of the Ohio Department of Transportation and retired as a construction inspector. She was a member of Jackson Center United Methodist Church where she was a past treasurer. Marjorie was also a past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star and had just completed her presidency with Region #4 of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International.
Marjorie is survived by her husband Guy Lotz, whom she married on April 20, 1958 in Jackson Center; sons: Scott (Kathleen) Lotz, Ty Lotz and Todd (Kathy) Lotz, all of Jackson Center; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; a brother Fred G. Bunke of Jackson Center; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the Jackson Center United Methodist Church from 5-8pm and on Thursday from 10 – 11 a.m. Pastor Rob Ulmer will officiate the funeral service on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 11am at the church. Burial will be in the Seventh Day Cemetery, Jackson Center.
