Marjorie J, Parmer 84, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Saturday evening, October 27, 2012 at Green Hills Care Center in West Liberty, Ohio.

A daughter of the late Thomas Harry and Leatha Vondetta (Godwin) Parmer, she was born in Bellefontaine May 4, 1928.

Marjorie was a graduate of Bellefontaine High School and started working at Hopewell Dairy as a bookkeeper while still in school and worked there for many years.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Bellefontaine and was the church secretary. She enjoyed traveling, visiting gift shops and eating out with friends.

Marjorie is survived friends Darrell (Diane) Stanley of West Mansfield, Ohio, Virginia Stanley of West Mansfield, Barbara Boerstle and Patricia Hover, both of Columbus, Ohio, Lois Hassel, Sue Schrader and Ruth Ann VanDyke, all of Bellefontaine.

A graveside service will be held at the Bellefontaine Cemetery Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 11:00 A.M., with Gene Marine officiating.

Memorial contributions can be made to donor’s choice.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
