Marjorie Ann Roberts

MARJORIE “MARGE” ANN ROBERTS, 80, of Jackson Center, OH, passed away at 9:13 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 26, 1940 in Newcastle, PA to the late Grant and Loretta (King) Boyer. Marge was first married to Donald F. Donahue Sr. who preceded her in death on August 17, 1999. She then married William “Bill” Roberts in Mercersburg, PA in 2001 and he survives in Jackson Center, OH.

Marge is also survived by 3 children; Crystal Donahue, Donald (Cassandra) Donahue Jr., and Whitney (Teresa) Donahue, 5 step-children; Juli Roberts, Sheila (Jim) Fitzpatrick, Jack (Mary) Roberts, Tim (Sandy) Roberts and Steve (Kendra) Roberts, 7 Grandchildren; Chandra (Lucas) Snapp, Tressa (L.A.) Wheeler, Cayla, Brooke, Lana, Rye and Mikaila Donahue, 13 Step-Grandchildren; Tiffany (Justin) Wright, Tommy (Dawn) Fisher, Jake (Marie) Kutz, Dylan Starbuck, Andrew, Joy and Alan Fitzpatrick, Samuel, Elisabeth, Janelle, Laurel, Kiersten, Laya Roberts, 3 great-grandchildren; Lawson and Gabby Snapp and Connor Cremeans, 2 step-great-grandchildren, Audriana Wright and Lincoln Kutz, 4 siblings; Wanda Hazen, Gwendolyn Hansen, Gerald and John Boyer. Marge was preceded in death by one sister, Mable Rogan.

Marge is a member of the Church of God and attended Church faithfully.  Marge had God first and serving God was the absolute joy of her life, and everyone around her knew it.  As a Pastor’s wife from 1976 - 1991, she helped establish a Church of God congregation in Greencastle, PA.  She enjoyed going to Church Camp Meetings, helping with the Camp Meeting Book Store, and was instrumental in the Kingdom of God for many years with the gift of helps.  Marge loved to laugh, loved to shop and shop some more, and could not turn down anything that was on sale.  She was a loving wife, mother, grand-mother and great-grand-mother, and she enjoyed spending time and talking with her family!

The family will receive family and friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Mt. Tabor Church of God, 8113 County Road 13 DeGraff, OH 43318 where Pastor Brother Nathan Price will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2021. There will also be visitation on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Guests in attendance are asked to be symptom free, wear a mask and practice social distancing.

A public graveside service will be officiated by Brother Kerry L. Snapp at 4 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Broad Top Association Cemetery in Broad Top City, PA.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to Mt. Tabor Church of God.
