Marjorie Joyce Wical, 81 of Springfield, Missouri and formerly of Jackson Center. Died Monday, February 27, 2017 at 10:52 p.m. at her home in Missouri. She had battled Lymphomas on and off since 2000.
Marjorie was born Tuesday, November 26, 1935 in Memorial Hospital - Elyria, Ohio. The second daughter of Robert E. and Zelma L. (Shroyer) Painter.
She was preceded in death by her only sibling, Beverly Jean (Painter) Stewart, October of 2000.
Marge married Larry L. Wical, October 12, 1988 on Kahaluu Beach - Kona, Hawaii and he survives along with Marge’s two sons, Dr. Shelden C. (Natalie) Wical, and Kyle S. (Pennie) Wical; grandchildren Stephanie N. (Jimmy) Calhoun, Geoffrey A. Wical, Amanda D. (Josh) Rhodes, Ryan E. Wical, Alison K (Alan) Frilling, and Brian M. Wical; great-grandchildren McKenzie, Luke, Ashton, Lincoln, Britain, Brian Jr., Brennen, Brooklyn, Ty, Ashley, Diegan, Nevayeh and Aiden.
Marge retired from Airstream, Inc. (Division of Thor Ind.) March 31, 2000, with nearly 26 years of service in Accounts Receivable / Credit and Collections and Payroll.
Anyone who knew Marge, knew how important her FAMILY was to her. She loved being around people. She was one of those who never met a stranger, her “SMILE” is something you will always remember.
While living in Nevada, MO, she worked in the Gift Shop and Surgery Waiting area. Marjorie enjoyed talking with many people.
Pastor Rob Ulmer will officiate a funeral service at 12:00 Noon on Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Jackson Center United Methodist Church, 202 E. Pike Street, Jackson Center. Visitation will Monday, March 6th two hours prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Pearl Cemetery in Swanders.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Jackson Center.
