Marjorie Wish

Marjorie V. Wish, 90, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born February 25, 1923, in Logan County Ohio to the late Roy and Fern (Frantz) Keesecker.

On November 29, 1942, she married Paul F. Wish at the Calvary Baptist Church in Bellefontaine and he preceded her in death February 27, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Samuel M. Keesecker, Ruth Thomas and Elizabeth Glett Wiley.

Surviving are two sons, James F. (Susan) Wish and Joseph P. Wish, both of Bellefontaine; five daughters, Sharon M. (Gale) Franklin of Jamestown, Ohio, Sue K. Caro of Orange County, California, Joy A. (Steve) Wish-Climer of Bellefontaine, Joni (Ron) Galarneau of Corona, California and Jeanne M. (Gail) Gildow of Bellefontaine; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; loving and caring nieces and nephews including special nieces, Shirley Ebright and Barb Spath, and her best friend, Bernadine Cronkleton.

A homemaker, Marjorie was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery for forty years and was active in the Awana Club. She was also a member of the Logan County Farm Bureau Council #23 and a charter member of the Logan County Agrarian Club. She enjoyed sewing, reading and entertaining at Wish's Pond.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Pastor Jeffory Willetts will officiate the funeral service at the Calvary Baptist Church Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Interment will follow the funeral service at the Bellefontaine Cemetery in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

The staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine handled the arrangements.
