Mark A. Carmean

Mark A. Carmean, 61, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away on October 1, 2023, at Memorial Hospital in Marysville, Ohio.

He was born on May 20, 1962, in Lake County, Ohio, the son of Vaughn and Della Mae (Moss) Carmean, who both survive.

Mark cherished his family dearly. He held a special bond with his daughter Kristin Carmean. In addition to Kristin, Mark is survived by his sister, Pam (David) Watts, three grandchildren: Koby & Ethyn Griffith and Dominik Patton, his fiancé, Linda Boedicker, and their Chinese Pug, Jake. His family was the light of his life and provided him with endless love and support.

Mark dedicated a significant portion of his life to Honda of America Manufacturing in Marysville, Ohio, until he was unable to work.  Beyond his professional achievements, Mark was a man who knew how to embrace life's simple pleasures. He attended both Indian Lake and West Liberty Salem High Schools and later became an avid lover of nature. In his free time, Mark found solace in fishing and hiking in the serene beauty of Hocking Hills, Ohio.

One couldn't mention Mark without acknowledging his devout love for The Ohio State Buckeyes. He cheered passionately for his favorite team whenever they took the field or court. Mark's enthusiasm for sports knew no bounds, and he was truly a dedicated fan with an unwavering loyalty to The Buckeyes.  Mark will be remembered for many things; however, one aspect that touched the lives of those around him was his extraordinary sense of humor.

Mark's memory will be honored during visitation on Monday, October 9, 2023, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 101 Zanesfield Road, West Liberty, Ohio 43357. Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a memorial service at the same location beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Monday following the visitation.
