Mark Amon Petty

Mark Amon Petty, 65 of Bellefontaine passed away Thursday, March 29th. He was born on July 27, 1952 to the late Amon L. and Mary E. (Carr) Petty. He was preceded in death by a brother Robin Petty; and a sister-in-law, Susan Petty.

Mark was a 1970 graduate of Bellefontaine High School. He took great pride in his daughter’s and grandchildren. He was a faithful fan to the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Mark loved reading and cooking for his family.

He is survived by daughters Megan (Beau) Jacobs of Bellefontaine, Meredith (Nick) Christman of Huntsville, and Molly (Ty) Klofta of Huntsville; grandchildren Tristen and Sophia Jacobs, Kase and Kohen Christman, and Krew Klofta. He is also survived by brothers: Timothy L. Petty of Beavercreek, Douglas C. Petty of Cuyahoga Falls, and Christopher F. (Barbara) Petty of Sidney.

A memorial service to begin at 6 pm Thursday, April 5th, at Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Bellefontaine, Ohio, with a time of visitation till 8 p.m.

The Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine assisted the family with arrangements.
