Marlowe E. Holder, age 91, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away at 7:40 P.M. Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Green Hills Community in West Liberty, Ohio.
She was born in Deshler, Ohio June 18, 1923, to the late Delbert C. and Edna Mae (Schmidt) Adams. On June 16, 1939, she married Daniel A. Holder Jr. and he preceded her in death January 23, 1979. She was also preceded in death by her son Daniel A. Holder III and a brother, Richard Adams.
She is survived by her daughter Jeanette Lazenby of Russells Point, Ohio; three sons, Thomas J. (Jerri) Holder of Napoleon, Ohio, James D. (Susie) Holder of Apple Valley, California and Bert (Luanne) Holder of Huntsville, Ohio; sixteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Elma (Terry) Emrick of Sarasota, Florida and Gerry (Gary) Carter of The Villages, Florida; a brother, Larry (Mary Lou) Adams of Kenton, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marlowe was a homemaker and had worked for Silco in Bellefontaine. She attended the First Church of God in Bellefontaine for many years.
Pastor Ray Headings will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Calling hours will be held Friday, November 28, 2014 from 4 to 6 P.M. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the funeral service.
Interment will be at the Rae Cemetery in Bloomfield Township.
The funeral arrangements were in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine.
