Martha Joann (Fry) Aultman, 72, went to be with the Lord March 26, 2011 at 10:13 P.M. at her home surrounded by family. Martha was born December 7, 1938 in Quincy, Ohio, to the late Arthur and Dora Hughes Fry.
On December 7, 1954, she married Frank Aultman who survives in Bellefontaine, Ohio. They were married for fifty six years. She attended the Logansville Community Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, traveling, working puzzles, shopping and taking her grandchildren to garage sales. She retired in 2006 from J.C. Penney in Bellefontaine after thirteen years.
Also surviving are sons Ron (Choi) Aultman of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Randy (Barb) Aultman of Lakeview, Ohio; a daughter, Pam (Ron) Pope of DeGraff, Ohio; a special son-in-law, Tim Colyer of Bellefontaine, Ohio; a brother, Paul (Gloria) Fry of Conover, Ohio; sisters Betty Dowell of DeGraff and Merry (Rick) Henry of Bellefontaine; brother in laws, Ray (Mae) Aultman of Clayton, Indiana, Billy (Cheryl) Aultman of Urbana, Ohio and Steve (Kathy) Aultman, both of Urbana; a sister-in-law, Dorthy Miller of Bellefontaine; eight grandchildren, Heidi (Matt) Duckro of DeGraff, Heather (Chad) Kean of Quincy, Hollie (John) Bryant of DeGraff, Joshua (Amanda) Aultman of Lothian, Maryland, Mandy (Corey) Allinder of Columbus, Ohio, Hana (Richard) Bradt of South Korea, Ashley Colyer of Bellefontaine, Christopher Aultman of Fredericksburg; fifteen great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Extended family survivors include Myrtis (Mike) Callahan, and John (Pam) May of Fort Myers, Florida.
In addition to her parents, Martha was also preceded in death by daughters Betty Jo Aultman and Cheryl Ann Colyer, and brothers Arthur Fry Jr. and Rev. Richard Fry.
The funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine with Elder Chad Lump officiating. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, March 29, 2011, from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Interment will be in the Springhill Cemetery.
