Martha Jane Kipker, 93, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, October 03, 2012 at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine.
She was born April 24, 1919 in Wyandot County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Sherman H. and Matilda (Brandt) Klinger.
On April 4, 1944 in Bellefontaine, she married Harold E. Kipker and he preceded her in death August 10, 1991. She was also preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include her sons, James (Norma) Kipker of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and Harold (Cindy) Kipker of Hilliard, Ohio; grandchildren, Terry and Debbie Kipker, Todd Kipker, Andrew and Mira Kipker, and Jenny Kipker; great-grandchildren, Terrance, Erica, Nathan, Shayla, Devin, Caitlin, Kelsey, Christy, Darren and Derrek; great-great-grandchildren, ShayLee, Keegan and Selby; step-grandchildren, Suzanne and Eddie Andrews and a sister, Roma Lawrence of Columbus, Ohio.
Martha was a 1937 graduate of Nevada High School in Wyandot County, Ohio and worked 30 plus years at Siemens in Bellefontaine. She was a member of the Mary Rutan Hospital Guild and a Deacon at the First Christian Church in Bellefontaine.
She loved gardening and taking care of her flowers. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at the Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, Ohio.
