Martin W. Goings

Martin W. “Spike” Goings, age 76, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Friday evening, December 17, 2021, at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine.

Spike was born in Bellefontaine November 12, 1945, to the late Charles E. and Mary Etna (Wilson) Goings.

Spike married Virginia Seymour June 23, 1970, and she survives in Bellefontaine. He is also survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Nikki Goings of Bellefontaine; a granddaughter, Natalie Goings and many extended family members.

Spike worked for 27 years at HBD / Thermoid in Bellefontaine. He enjoyed listening to his 50’s & 60’s music on his juke box. Spike loved to tell jokes, play the drums, and attend car shows.

Friends may call Wednesday, December 22, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine, where Pastor Don Seymour will officiate Spike’s funeral at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow the funeral Service at the Fairview Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.
