Mary Brown

Mary K. “G.G.” Brown, 75, of Belle Center, Ohio, passed away at 9:59 P.M. Monday, February 1, 2010, at her residence. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio February 1, 1935, a daughter of the late LaVern and Hazel Heil Williams. She was also preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Lindsey Brooke Cox.

On October 19, 1958 in DeGraff, Ohio, she married Jack Brown and he survives along with a daughter, Katherine (Douglas) Johnson of West Liberty, Ohio; sons, Vernon (Mary Ann) Brown of Belle Center, and Bernard Brown of Huntsville, Ohio; two brothers, Donald (Carol) Williams of Quincy, Ohio, and Ronald (Arlene) Williams of Sidney, Ohio; three sisters, Marjorie Faulder of Logansville, Ohio, Sharon (Sam) Burchett of DeGraff, and Donna Williams of Jackson Center, Ohio; six grandchildren, Michael (Michele) Brown of Bellefontaine, Stephen (Kandie) Brown, Belle Center, Stephanie (Heath) Murphy both of Belle Center, Nichole Johnson of Rushsylvania, Ohio, Douglas (Charity) Johnson II of Bellefontaine, and Ginger (Kenneth) Brown of Hilliard, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Logan & Cierra Brown of West Liberty, Elizabeth Brown, Taylor Keene, Christian Keene of Belle Center, Kristen Johnson, Heather Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Douglas “D.J.” Johnson III all of Bellefontaine; Tyler Cox, Joshua Cox, Izik Cox all of Rushsylvania, Kenneth Specht II of Hilliard, Addison Murphy, Reese Murphy both of Belle Center, and Mickayla Brown of Bellefontaine and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a school bus driver for twenty two years for Belle Center Schools and later for Benjamin Logan Schools. She worked at the K & K Dairy for the past fourteen years and loved cards, especially playing euchre. She loved to cook and bake wedding cakes, Christmas cookies and candy. She enjoyed sewing and was a wonderful seamstress, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Pastor Floyd Lundy will officiate the funeral at 11 A.M. Friday, February 5, 2010, at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Belle Center, where calling hours are Thursday, February 4, 2010 from 5 to 8 P.M. Burial is in the Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center.
