Mary Ferree

Mary Louise Ferree, 76, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and formerly of Toledo and Inverness, Florida., passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. She was born in Oregon, Ohio, April 3, 1932, a daughter of the late Francis Herbert and Alberta Cole.

On September 9, 1950, she married Glenn E. Ferree in Toledo, Ohio, and he passed away January 8, 1994. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry, William and Richard Herbert; and one sister, Charlotte Hyatt.

Survivors include six sons, Eugene (Lynne) Ferree, Gary Ferree, Richard (Diane) Ferree, Kevin Ferree and Jeffrey Ferree, all of Toledo, and Wesley (Jill) Ferree of Louisville, Kentucky.; one daughter, Marianne (John) Elizondo of Bellefontaine; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was a sales clerk at the Lions Store and a was member of the Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Toledo.

A service will be conducted at a later date at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.

Funeral arrangements were handled by the staff of the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine.
