Mary Patricia “Pat” Foster, 72, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Monday, May 17, 2010 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. She was born October 17, 1937 in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Charles and Mildred (Bremer) Krueger.
On August 18, 1962 she married Jerry L. Foster in Dayton, and he survives along with their sons, Jerry “Jay” (Susan) Foster, Jr. of Tampa, Florida, and Jon C. (Michelle) Foster of Delaware, Ohio; brothers, Charles “Mike” (Joyce)Krueger of Centerville, Ohio, and James (Kathy) Krueger of Marblehead, Ohio; a sister Catherine (Bert) Walker of Huntsville, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Kelsey and Madison Foster of Tampa, Florida and many nieces and nephews.
Pat taught art education at school districts in Bedford, Cincinnati and then later at Benjamin Logan Schools. She later worked for Nash Finch Company in Bellefontaine.
She graduated from Fairview High School in Dayton and was a 1959 graduate from Ohio University, where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She was also a member of the Logan County Art League. An artist, Pat loved to paint pictures and enjoyed going for walks and gardening.
Gene Marine will conduct a memorial service at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, where calling hours are from noon to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service.
