Mary Louise Hook, 91, of West Liberty passed away Saturday morning, November 19, 2016 at Green Hills Inn.
She was born in Lima, Ohio on September 19, 1925 to the late Walter and Rhema (Cloe) Grubb. She married Charles W. Hook on June 24, 1945 in West Liberty and he preceded her in death on January 14, 2015. Mary was also preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Foster, Joan Hughes and Jean Van Sant.
Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and sewing. She loved to feed people from her kitchen, and from God’s word. Mary was a charter member of Grace Chapel.
Mary is survived by three sons: Jack W. (Coralyne) Hook of Tremont, IL, David W. (Pam) Hook of West Liberty and Mark W. (Ruth) Hook of Lancaster, PA; three grandchildren; Aaron (Olivia) Hook, Adam Hook and Dana (Jakob) Stuber, six great-grandchildren; Skylar and Hunter Hatcher-Hook, Ivy, Genesis, Hazel, and Abraham Stuber, and a nephew, Paul W. Hook; a sister Delores (Bill) Sanborn of Quincy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pastor Robert Parr will officiate the funeral service on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 11am at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 101 Zanesfield Road, West Liberty, where visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty.
