Mary Grace Howard

Mary Grace Howard, 93, of DeGraff, Ohio passed away at 9:40 P.M. Sunday, August 5, 2018, at Green Hills Community in West Liberty, Ohio. She was born in Champaign County Ohio November 11, 1924, to the late Alby Crockett and Hazel Grace (Clem) Runkle.

A homemaker, Mary married Harrison Daniel Howard November 9, 1946, and he preceded her in death September 28, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her son, John Howard; two grandsons, T.J. Lewis and Scott Howard; two sisters, Emma Meeker and Edith Morris and three brothers, Alby Runkle, Buddy Runkle, and Jim Runkle.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Mark) Rich of Urbana, Ohio, Richard (Carolyn) Howard of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, Thomas (Cheri) Howard of Urbana, and David Howard of DeGraff; ten grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 9, 2018, at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff, where visitation will be held from 1 to 2 P.M. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff.

The funeral arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff.
