Mary Roberts

Mary E. “Lib” Roberts, 91, of Rushsylvania passed away Saturday morning, June 4, 2016 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. She was born in Zanesfied on June 30, 1924 to the late Charles C. and Louvene (Rudisill) Tallman. Lib married Paul O. “Bud” Roberts on January 15, 1947 in East Liberty and he preceded her in death on April 8, 1999. She was also preceded in death by a sister Mozelle Detwiler and brothers Roy Tallman, Earl Tallman and Charles Tallman.

Lib was a homemaker and longtime member of the Rushsylvania United Methodist Church where she was active with the Rhoda Circle and the United Methodist Women.

Lib loved all Ohio State Buckeye sports and was also a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals.

Lib is survived by her children: Chuck Roberts, Marsha Roberts and Cynthia (AJ) Collins, all of Bellefontaine.

Friends may call at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Bellefontaine on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 4-7pm. Pastor Lloyd Ferguson will officiate the funeral service on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rushsylvania Cemetery.
