Mary E. Rutter

Mary E. Rutter, age 80, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Friday evening, December 10, 2021, at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine.

Mary was born in Nelsonville, Ohio November 13, 1941, to the late Elmer and Beatrice (Nelson) Rutter.  She was also preceded in death by siblings Evelyn Stayrook, Geraldine Davis, Martha Heinlein, Elmer Rutter, and Arthur Rutter.

Mary is survived by her sisters: Edith (Richard) Akers of Vandalia, Ohio, Bonnie Cook of Toledo, Ohio and Loretta Sue Rutter of Pennsylvania; a brother, Larry (Wanda) Rutter of Pomeroy, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary was a babysitter for several families in the Bellefontaine area for many years.  She later worked at the Bellefontaine Wal­-Mart as a cashier and snack bar attendant.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.

The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine is honored to serve the Rutter family.
