Mary Ann Shoe

Mary Ann Shoe, age 75, of DeGraff, Ohio was welcomed into the arms of her Lord at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Sidney, Ohio June 4, 1944, to the late Delbert and Ruth Louise (Strasser) Stahler.

On December 4, 1965, Mary married Robert Park Shoe and he survives in DeGraff. She is also survived by three children, Becky (Gloyd) Shaw of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Roberta (Darrell) Porter, and Mark Shoe, both of DeGraff; four grandchildren, Christina Porter, Nathan Shaw, Zachary (Anna) Shaw, and Michaela Shaw; two sisters, Barb (Mark) Ingram and Tina Rose and many nieces and nephews.

Mary had worked as an LPN with Hi-Point Home Health, Dorothy Love, Logan Acres and The Ohio Masonic Home. She was also employed at Bob Evans in Bellefontaine and most recently at Panther Expedited Services in Seville, Ohio. She had attended both the New Beginnings Community Church in DeGraff and the Gretna Brethren Church in Bellefontaine. Mary enjoyed square dancing, crocheting, sewing, and shopping at garage sales and thrift shops.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon Monday, November 11, 2019 at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff, where the funeral service will begin at 12 noon.

Inurnment will be at the Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff at a later date.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff.
