Mary Ann Siler, 79, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Heartland of Bellefontaine.
She was born August 21, 1932 in Dearborn, Michigan, to the late Octavian and Victoria (Concu) Petrascu.
On July 19, 1952, she married William Merritt Siler in Brighton, Michigan, and he preceded her in death April 26, 1994. Also preceding her in death was a brother, Lawrence Debrin, and a grandson, Jason Michael King.
Surviving are 2 sons, William (Joni) Siler and Thomas A. Siler, both of Bellefontaine; 3 daughters, Becky (Mike) Neese of Sugarland, Texas, Betty (Mike) King of Chapin, South Carolina, and Vicky (Mark) Marmon of Zanesfield, Ohio; a step-daughter, Marty Cichwoski of Flat Rock, Michigan; a sister, Virginia Badalutz of Thousand Oak, California; twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Mary Ann worked as a bookkeeper for Gillespie Oil, a cook at the Court Café, and also worked at E.W. Spectrum. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, the Eagles and AmVets Auxiliaries. She was an avid reader, a good cook and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 P.M. at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio Thursday, April 26, 2012, with Pastor Keith Matthews officiating.
