Mary Lou Thomas, 91, of Bellefontaine and formerly of Belle Center passed away Monday, January 2, 2017 in Logan Acres Care Center.

She was born in Belle Center on November 20, 1925, the daughter of the late Raymond and Reba Mae (Ewing) Henry.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Earl Thomas in 1977, a granddaughter, Skyler Stamm, two sisters; Marjorie Cushwa and Carol Howell, and two brothers; Carl “Buzz” Henry and Edison Henry.

She is survived by two daughters; Linda (Ray) Stamm and Sandy (David) Bell, all of Bellefontaine, four grandchildren; Thomas A. (Rae Jean) Stamm, Stacie (Mark) Cooper, Tiffany King, all of Bellefontaine and Matthew (Stacy) Bell of Denver Colorado, five great grandchildren; Haley Cooper, Georgia Cooper, Megan Boyer, Cody Bell, and Anthony Stamm, one great great grandson, Grayson Boyer, two sisters; Betty Collum of Belle Center and Phyllis Hempy of Waldo, and a brother, Robert Henry of Rushsylvania.

Mary Lou worked as a bookkeeper for several area businesses. She volunteered at the Logan County Friendly Senior Center in Bellefontaine and enjoyed playing BINGO.

Pastor Kevin Smith will officiate a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2017 in the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, Belle Center. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roundhead Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 306 N. Elizabeth St., Belle Center.
