Merle Wayne McWilliams

Merle Wayne McWilliams, age 71, of Belle Center, Ohio passed away Wednesday morning, August 30, 2017 at his home.  He was born in Springfield, Ohio February 9, 1946, to the late Janet E. Weaver and W. Merle McWilliams.  Wayne was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley A. (Baughman) McWilliams June 6, 2017 and a brother, Stephen McWilliams.

Wayne is survived by his children, Jack (Kimberly) Miller of Belle Center, Larry Stephenson of Bellefontaine, Ohio and Amy C. Miller of Belle Center; three grandchildren, Eirika Reed, Courtney (Trent) Kuhn and Samantha Garrett; four great-grandchildren and one that is due soon; siblings, Winnie (Don) Volbrecht of Belle Center, Edgar McWilliams of Russells Point, Ohio, Rhonda (Mike) Haines of Huber Heights, Ohio, Michelle (Lee) Painter of Bellefontaine, and Twila Dearwester of Bellefontaine and numerous nieces and nephews.

A veteran of the United States Army, Wayne worked as a glass technician for twenty two years at Gates Brothers Glass.  He loved camping, being with his dog, and spending time with his wife Shirley.

There will be no services for Wayne at this time.

The arrangements were under the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center.
