Michael Fitzpatrick

Michael D. Fitzpatrick, 67, of Bellefontaine, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 3,
2016.

He was born in Bellefontaine on September 23, 1949 to the late Ralph and Phyllis (Stafford) Fitzpatrick. A stepson, Jack Klingler, also preceded him in death.

On December 18, 1981, he married the former Judy Brown and she survives. Also surviving are children; Crystal (Mark) McClain, Christina Bray and Zane Fitzpatrick; eight grandchildren, Brianne Smith, Madison Miller, Macy McClain, Meredith McClain, Jacob Fitzpatrick, Dillon McClain, Jaiden Bray and Carter Bray; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Ellen (Patrick Horgan) Fitzpatrick and Julia Anne (Timothy) Fitzpatrick–Cooper; and brother, Jerry (Lynn) Fitzpatrick.

Mike was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, NRA and Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Cubs fan. Mike also liked working out at the Health Spa and the YMCA.

Father Shawn Landenwitch will officiate a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 328 E. Patterson Ave., Bellefontaine. A Celebration of Life will be on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Fitzpatrick Family Farm, 2038 Co. Rd. 1, Bellefontaine.
