Michael Regula

Biography

Michael R. Regula, 62, of Jackson Center passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 29, 2015. He was born in Shelby County, Ohio on September 17, 1953 to Sarah L. (Steenrod) Regula and the late Kenneth Eugene Regula. He was also preceded in death by his brother Terry Regula.

On May 10, 1975 he married the former Joyce Metz in Jackson Center, and she survives along with their children; Julie (Darrel) Klopfenstein of Jackson Center, Brian (Leslie) Regula of Huntsville and Michelle (Patrick) Shuff of Sunnyvale, California; four grandchildren, Macy Klopfenstein, Carter Klopfenstein, Cason Regula and Mia Regula; a sister, Rita (Don) Ware of Jackson Center; a brother, Tom (Judy) Regula of Jackson Center; and several nieces and nephews.

A member of Grace Lutheran Church in Jackson Center, Mike retired from Airstream following 39 years of service. He was an avid Ohio State football fan who enjoyed fishing, going out to dinner with friends and most especially spending time with his family.

Visitation will be Monday, November 2, 2015 from 2-7 p.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church, 607 S. Main Street, Jackson Center, Ohio 45334. Pastor Kent Hollis will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 3rd at the church with one hour visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson, Ohio.
