Michael Andrew White

Michael Andrew White, 63, of DeGraff joined his Heavenly family at 2:18 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

He was born in Mount Vernon, OH to the late Robert Thomas White and Eunice Irene Cordle.

On May 13, 1972, he married the love of his life, Lucinda “Cindy” Sue Allison in Bellefontaine, and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, George White, sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Bill Auflick, brothers, Robert T. White, Jr. and Rocky White, brother-in-law, Ray Schrader, and mother-in-law, Maxine Allison.

Mike is survived by his children, Shannon (Brett) Paulins of Huntsville, Michael “Andy” A. (Sara) White, Jr. of DeGraff, grandchildren; Tyler J. (Katie) Allen and Elizabeth “Bee” M. White, a great-granddaughter, Emberly J. Allen, his siblings; Patty (Ted) Swainhart of Perrsyville, Tommie Schrader of DeGraff, Anna (Tony) Coder of Bellefontaine, Tammie (Keith) Ellison of Texarkana, AR, brother and sisters-in-law; David and Debra Allison and father-in-law, Russell Allison, all of Bellefontaine, nieces and nephews, Matt Auflick, Clay and Eric Swainhart, Brian Schrader, Sean and Chad Williams, KayDee Bruce,Travis Ropp,and Andy and Chris Allison.

Mike attended Indian Lake High School and proudly served in the US Army from 1974 to 1982, when he was medically retired.  Mike’s greatest love was his family.  He loved being a “PaPaw” and most recently a “PePaw”.  Playing cards, Starbucks Coffee, watching the Cleveland Browns with “his boys”, fishing, NASCAR, and putting miles on the Chevys with Cindy were favorites of his.

Mike donated his body to science.  He always said, “someone’s body has taught the doctors how to keep me going, so I hope mine will do the same for someone else.”

Mike will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at a later date.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
