Milburn Fae “Faye” Patrick, age 85, of West Liberty, Ohio, passed away Thursday morning, September 11, 2014 at her home.
She was born in Crowell, Texas October 2, 1928, to the late Marvin and Frona (Steele) Oldham.
She married Ervin Patrick October 2, 1946 in Wichita Falls, Texas and he preceded her in death May 2, 1994. Faye was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Patrick January 12, 2002; a son-in-law, Ray Castle, and fifteen siblings.
Faye is survived by daughters, Toni Patrick Daniels of West Liberty, Shirley Castle of Kenton, Ohio and Sharon (Doug) Burris of Harrod, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Beverly Patrick of Belle Center, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Jeffrey S. (Joni) Daniels, Jonathan Mosley, Edward (Erin) Castle, Donald Castle, Jeffrey (Cheryl) Castle, Chi Michael (Holly) Patrick, Ty (Kirsten) Patrick and Jacob Patrick; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters Violet Grigsby of Saginaw, Texas and Loise Jean Ferguson of Azle, Texas and a brother, Euvelle Oldham of Cortez, Colorado.
Faye spent most of her life in the Roundhead, Ohio and Hardin County areas. She was the owner/operator of Pat’s Bar & Grill and also helped her husband farm. Faye later worked as an aide at the Hardin County Home and a surgical aide at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was raised Pentecostal and in her spare time, Faye enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Pastor David Schneer will conduct a graveside service Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at the New Roundhead Cemetery at 1 P.M.
The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center assisted the family with the arrangements.
