Milo Andrew Ricketts Jr., age 92, formerly of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at the Genacross Lutheran Center in Napoleon, Ohio.

He was born in Zanesfield, Ohio in Logan County March 10, 1925, the son of the late Milo Andrew Sr. and Mary Margaret (Kline) Ricketts. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Pauline Kerns and a brother, Ralph H. Ricketts.

On March 6, 1949, he married Patricia C. (Smith) Ricketts in Bellefontaine and she preceded him in death November 14, 2013.

He is survived by a daughter, Susan Ricketts of Indianapolis, Indiana; two sons, Ted Ricketts of Bellefontaine and Timothy (Renee) Ricketts of Napoleon, Ohio; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Betty Kreinbihl of Mansfield, Ohio; five brothers, Jack (Patricia) Ricketts of Westerville, Ohio, Glenn (Joann) Ricketts of Cleveland, Ohio, William (Melva) Ricketts of Belle Center, Ohio, James (Judy) Ricketts of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Dick (Brenda) Ricketts of Indiana; a sister-in-law, Marcile Ricketts of Bellefontaine and numerous nieces and nephews.

Milo was a United States Navy Veteran of WWII and worked as a team leader for D.A.B. in Bellefontaine for thirty eight years retiring in 1988. He was a longtime member of the First Church of God in Bellefontaine and in his spare time he loved caring for his garden, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed following The Ohio State Buckeyes athletics as well as the Cincinnati Reds.

Pastor Gary Brown will officiate the funeral service Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow the funeral service at the Bellefontaine Cemetery.

The staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine assisted the family with the arrangements.
